Puppy Preschool
At Southside Animal Hospital, we are a little famous for having the very
best puppy preschool classes available in the Sutherland Shire!
Puppy preschool classes at our Southside Animal Hospital, Gymea location are for puppies 8-
16 weeks of age. Our class numbers are strictly limited to give each puppy the attention
required to achieve the best outcomes.
Your pup as a Southside Animal Hospital graduate!
Attending our puppy preschool classes one evening per week, for four weeks, you can expect to
learn how to use positive reinforcement methods to encourage the development of calm, well
mannered behaviours as well as information on health, nutrition, grooming and correct handling.
About the instructor
Jodie is well versed in educating on various behavioural issues such as play biting, mouthing,
toilet training, barking, digging and jumping. These will all be covered, along with strategies on
how to help you teach your puppy to learn what is appropriate. Specific training skills taught in
class will help your puppy to learn to listen to his name, sit, drop, stay and come when called!
Jodie is passionate about developing a long lasting, happy relationship with their new fur-baby
family members. For a harmonious relationship, it is incredibly important we teach our puppies,
from a very young age, how to socialise and appropriately interact with other animals and
humans.
